Kenly, N.C. — Family, friends and members of the Kenly community gathered Wednesday night to remember the life of 5-year-old Cannon Hinnant.
The group gathered outside on College Avenue, remembering the young boy and praying for justice.
Darius Sessoms is in jail with no bond, charged with shooting Hinnant in the head as he rode his bike just outside his father's home. Sessoms, 25, was arrested and is charged with first-degree murder in Cannon's death.
