Officers from the McHenry County Sheriff and other departments investigate a shooting in the 5800 block of Wild Plum Road in unincorporated Crystal Lake Wednesday Aug. 9, 2023. The department was called to the scene at around 3:50 a.m. for reports of multiple gunshots fired. according to Tim Creighton, from the sheriff’s department five people were found at the home.
