MURFREESBORO, TN – The Middle Tennessee men's tennis team wrapped up the second day of play indoors at the Adams Tennis Complex with nine wins in the Buck Bouldin Battle of the Boro with Chattanooga, South Alabama and UAB on Saturday.

The Blue Raiders clinched three of the four doubles wins. Sophomore Patrick Kristensen and junior Pavel Motl topped Labbe and Voges of UTC, 6-1. Oscar Michalek and Francisco Rocha clinched the second win with a 6-3 mark. Hot hands Sean Presson and Max Rauch won their match up with Coutinho and Blissard of South Alabama, 6-1.

Presson and Rauch own a 9-1 overall record so far into the fall. Rauch is a mere 10 combined wins away from entering the top 10 in program history.

The Raiders carried the momentum into singles play as Rauch and Presson pulled out straight set victories against UTC opponents. Motl also picked up his seventh win of the fall with a 6-1, 6-1 effort over Voges of the Mocs. Andreas Kramer, Patrick Kristensen and Francisco Rocha battled tough in three setters edging out their opponents.

The Blue Raiders will return to action with a round of doubles and one in singles on Sunday. With weather incoming into the area, the Raiders will stay indoors and start at 8 a.m. on Sunday at the Adams Tennis Complex.
