The study, underway by the two entities, begin in September and is expected to last until spring 2022, according to information from the H-GAC. The study will provide a transportation plan recommending short-, medium- and long-range transportation projects for Precinct 2, which spans portions of Magnolia, Conroe, Montgomery and Shenandoah.
According to the H-GAC, the study analyzes current and future conditions, including demographics, traffic bottlenecks and roadways with high congestion or unsafe conditions.
Residents must register to attend the virtual public meeting April 22 at 6 p.m, where residents can provide input on where traffic issues are locally, pinpoint issues on a map and complete a survey. A second public meeting is anticipated to be held in September.
