Hundreds gather outside Colorado Springs church to pray for Ukraine - KKTV

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) -Hundreds of people gathered outside St. Mary’s Church in Colorado Springs Friday morning to pray for those in Ukraine.

This is a part of a world-wide prayer that was started by Pope Francis. Those who attended the gathering say they are praying for peace between Ukraine and Russia.

“We all continue to pray as long as this war lasts and continue to pray for peace in the world,” said Harvey Siegle, an attendee of the prayer.

The prayer service lasted around 30 minutes.
