Around 3 p.m., a crowd of around at least a few hundred had gathered in Black Lives Matter Plaza.

Amid boarded-up downtown businesses and increased “anti-scale” fencing around the White House , D.C. is prepped for what is expected to be a tumultuous finale to the 2020 presidential election Tuesday.
By 3 p.m., a crowd had already started to gather at Black Lives Matter Plaza, in front of the White House and the new security fencing.
WTOP’s Alejandro Alvarez walked around the newly enforced fencing around the White House. Alvarez reported that parts of the fencing had posters on it warning against ticket scalping and underage drinking.
