Michigan's big man board for the 2022 is starting to take shape, with a clear emphasis on the top-end of the recruit rankings for the class. The latest big man to be offered is 7-foot-1 four-star Dereck Lively. The Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, native currently sits as the No. 36 player in the 2022 class.
The news was first reported by Stockrisers' Jake Weingarten.
Lively recently spoke with 247Sports' Steve Helwagen, who broke down his list of suitors with the Wolverines being included in the group.
“Michigan has Juwan Howard," Lively said. "He’s a great coach and he knows what to do with bigs. I think I can trust him.”
