Frances Rea Lively, favorably known as "Bo," went to her Heavenly home to join her loving husband, Melvin Lively, on June 19, 2020. She went to be with the Lord after courageously battling an ongoing illness. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Frances was born Frances Rea Beckett on July 5, 1930, in Beckley, WV. Frances was raised in Fitzpatrick, WV, and resided there until she married Melvin Lively of Dothan, WV, in March 1956. Together, they made a home in Bradley, WV, where she resided until her death. Frances was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, cousin, and friend. She was a devoted Christian, faithful member of the Bradley Freewill Baptist Church and proud member of the Ladies Auxiliary. Frances loved her family, her church family, and her country. She was a very caring, humble, independent and hard-working woman. Even though she has left this earth to begin her eternal life in Heaven, her memory and legacy will live on through all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Frances is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Lively; parents, Ira Beckett and Gladys Beckett; cousin and best friend, Mary Edna Beckett.
Frances is survived by her loving sons, Jerry Lively, Charles Lively and his wife, Debbie Lively; grandchildren, Chad Honaker, Cassie Bonifacio and husband Julius Bonifacio, Emily Lively, John Lively; great-grandchildren, Airlie Bonifacio, Dylan Bonifacio, and Lucca Bonifacio; Frances will also be sadly missed by the remaining members of the Lively and Beckett Families.
Visitation will be held at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at 1pm. Funeral service will begin at 2 pm. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. Family will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, donation can be made in the memory of Frances Lively, to Bradley Freewill Baptist Church, 6132 Robert C Byrd Drive, Bradley, WV 25818. The family is especially grateful to Pastor Wayne Peters, Reverend Daniel Legg, Carl Larson Cancer Center, Fayette Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, and Raleigh General Hospital.
