Wanda Lively, 79, passed away at her home Saturday, December 5, 2020. She was a life-long resident of Chattanooga, was of the Baptist faith and retired from Olan Mills as proof operator. She enjoyed family and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling to the beach and taking an occasional cruise.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, James “Buddy” Lively; parents, Jack and Beulah Forrester; sister, Shirley Cantrell; and brother, Gary Forrester.
Survivors include children, Kandra Payne, Tammy (Alex) Padgett, Michele (Cheryl) Lively, Sandra Kelly and James (Tonya) Lively; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many friends.
A celebration of her life will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15 at Chattanooga National Cemetery, with Reverend Mike Leroux officiating. Interment will immediately follow. Due to the national pandemic and cemetery requirements, all family members and friends are required to wear a mask.
The family would like to add a special thanks to Kindred Hospice with Dr. Melvin, Cassidy Gabby, Ali and Carla, who left a special place in their hearts.
