Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are parents to three daughters, James, seven, Inez, five and Betty, two, and have spoken warmly about their experience of parenthood.
Now, the couple appear to have shown support for sufferers of stillbirth, by way of a charity donation.
Lively, 34 and Reynolds, 45, have reportedly given £10,000 to a fundraising page set up by footballer Jordan Davies' partner Kelsey Edwards, after she and the Wrexham A.F.C player suffered a stillbirth last month. The page's description reads: 'I’m raising money in aid of Sands (Stillbirth & Neonatal Death Society) and every donation will help.'
Stillbirths happens in around one in every 200 births in England, and causes include birth defects, placenta complications or the mother's health, as stated by the NHS.
Lively and her husband of 10 years are said to have made the donation to the GoFundMe page with fellow actors Rob McElhenney - who co-owns Wrexham A.F.C. club with Reynolds- and his wife Kaitlin Olson.
The message next to the donation reads: 'Rob, Kaitlin, Ryan and Blake, for Arthur'. Arthur Andrew Davies was the full name given to Davis and Edwards' baby.
Edwards set a goal of £1,500 for the fundraiser, but so far £14,119 has been raised, with a total of 227 donations.
The message on Arthur's fundraiser page also reads: 'Sands support anyone affected by the death of a baby, works in partnership with health professionals to try to ensure that bereaved parents and families receive the best possible care and funds research that could help to reduce the numbers of babies dying and families devastated by this tragedy.'
Lively and Reynolds have championed various important causes in the past.
In September of last year, the pair donated upwards of £741,000 ($1 million) to the American Civil Liberties Union and NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, to fight for social equity.
At the time the Legal Defense Fund tweeted: 'LDF is hugely grateful to Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds for matching all gifts up to $1,000,000 split between LDF and @ACLU through October 8. Their generosity comes at a critical time for our democracy.'

Reynolds reshared the post and wrote: 'We still believe in you, 2021. Let’s help @ACLU and @naacp_ldf change it together.'
Prior to that, the actors donated £148,000 ($200,000) to the same organisation after George Floyd's death in 2020.
Beyond this, the couple's charitable efforts include donating £14,800 ($20,000) between them to as many as four different charity organisations after the earthquake in Haiti last year.
Publicly thanking the actors, Hope for Haiti wrote on Twitter: 'This donation will help empower our team to continue to respond in the hardest-hit areas of southern Haiti.'

Betty Buzz founder Lively and Maximum Effort owner Reynolds have also supported the homeless during the Covid-19 pandemic, as they donated £741,000 ($1 million) last year to food banks, Feeding America and Food Banks Canada.
A joint statement from the pair read: 'We are honoured and privileged to be able to continue our support of Feeding America and Food Banks Canada. We know the struggles of so many of our neighbours faced last year are not over and we are grateful for the opportunity to help facilitate the important work of food banks across the US and Canada to be able to provide nourishing meals to the people in need.'

Not to mention, the couple gave £185,000 ($250,000) to Covenant House Vancouver and the same amount to Covenant House Toronto to enable shelter and support for young people in 2020. The former referred to their charitable donation as 'an incredible act of kindness and philanthropy', via an Instagram post.
