WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- One month after the historic ruling to overturn Roe v Wade, marchers gathered in Hart Park today, on July 24.
Dozens of marchers gathered in this very spot.
Many marchers had signs calling for action from both local and federal government.
They say the historic ruling to overturn Roe v Wade could potentially pave the way for other fundamental constitutional rights to be stripped away from the American people.
They tell CBS 58 they will continue to march until changes are made.
"Taking away Roe v Wade and the right to medical privacy which is what that afforded is just kind of a gateway taking away any other right that’s not enumerated explicitly in the Constitution," said Jennifer Clark of Protect Our Rights Milwaukee.
"I'm really worried about the future of LGBTQ rights, especially with the Supreme Court doing what they did, who knows what's next," said protester Jessica Katzenmeyer.
Organizers put out a call to action for marchers to hit the polls come Aug. 9 for the primary elections.
