HUNDREDS OF CANDLES IN THE DARK AS A MISSING MAN’S FAMILY AND FRIENDS HOLD OUT HOPE THAT HE’S STILL ALIVE. THANKS FOR JOINING US. I’M JULIE CORNELL. I’M ROB MCCARTNEY. TYLER GOODRICH’S HUSBAND REPORTED HIM MISSING SATURDAY MORNING. IT WAS HOURS AFTER DEPUTIES RESPONDED TO A DISTURBANCE AT THE COUPLE’S HOME IN SOUTHWEST LINCOLN. GOODRICH WAS NOT THERE WHEN THEY ARRIVED. INVESTIGATORS LATER CAME BACK WITH THE SEARCH WARRANT AND THEY HAVE BEEN ON THE PROPERTY SEVERAL TIMES. WELL, THE CHIEF DEPUTY SAID GOODRICH’S HUSBAND IS NO LONGER COOPERATING, WHILE THE HUSBAND’S NEW ATTORNEY SAID THAT IS ABSOLUTELY FALSE. WE’LL HAVE MORE ON THAT EXCHANGE IN A MOMENT. FIRST, THOUGH, KETV, NEWSWATCH SEVEN’S ABBIE PETERSEN TAKES US TO TONIGHT’S VIGIL. IT’S CLEAR HOW LOVED TYLER GOODRICH IS BY THE HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE WHO SHOWED UP HERE AT PIONEER PARK. THERE WERE TEARS CANDLE FALLS AND A COMMITMENT TO NOT GIVE UP ON FINDING TYLER. CANDLES ILLUMINATE THE NIGHT SKY, REMINDING TYLER GOODRICH’S, FRIENDS AND FAMILY THE LIGHT HE IS IN ALL OF THEIR LIVES. I WOULD LIKE TO SAY GOOD EVENING, BUT IT’S JUST EVENING, ISN’T IT? AN EVENING FILLED WITH SADNESS. WE PRAY TO YOU, LORD JESUS, FOR TYLER’S SAFE RETURN HOME. THE 35 YEAR OLD’S FAMILY, PARENTS, HUSBAND AND THEIR TWO ADOPTED SONS, FRIEND AND STRANGERS, ALL HERE WITH THE SAME GOAL. BRING TYLER HOME. WE’RE TIRED. WE’RE WORN. WE’RE WEARY. WE. WE’RE DISAPPOINTED. WE’RE DISGUSTED. WE’RE ANGRY. HIS LIFELONG FRIEND, RACHEL BARTH SAYS NO ONE EVER WANTS THIS TO HAPPEN TO ANYBODY. BUT TO HAVE IT HAPPEN TO SOMEONE YOU LOVE IS XSCREEN. RADIATING ALL. THINK ABOUT NO FOR HIS FRIENDS AND FAMILY. THAT’S ALL THEY TALK ABOUT. HIS DAD TALKED ABOUT JUST HOW TIRED HE WAS AND CAN’T IMAGINE. I FEEL FOR HIS KIDS. THEY HOPE AND PRAY ANSWERS WILL COME SOON AND THEY’LL FIND TYLER. BUT WE ARE NOT DONE. TRUST MY WORDS. WE ARE NOT DONE. AND WHEREVER THAT MAY BE, BARTH HAS THIS MESSAGE. WE MISS YOU AND WE WANT YOU HOME AND. AND YOUR FAMILY LOVES YOU. AND YOUR FRIENDS LOVE YOU. HOPE HE KNOWS HOW MANY PEOPLE CARE AND LOVE FOR HIM. IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION THAT CAN HELP DEPUTIES LOCATE GOODRICH, CONTACT LANCASTER COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE. AT 402441 6500.
