Taylor Swift Sings The Names Of Blake Lively's Daughters On Folklore - elle.com

Hours after Taylor Swift released her latest album Folklore, her fans have noticed that one song references the names of Blake Lively’s two eldest daughters.

In a song titled ‘Betty’ on the eighth studio album, Swift sings about a girl named Betty who is mistreated. She also mentions the names Inez and James in the tune, which Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds fans will know are the names of their two eldest daughters.

Of course, this isn’t the first time one of the couple’s children has featured on one of Swift’s albums.

Let’s not forget that James, 5, featured at the beginning of Swift’s song ‘Gorgeous’ from her Reputation album.

Swift confirmed James’ participation on the album in the album’s booklet in 2017, writing: ‘Baby intro voice by James Reynolds.’

In 2018, the proud parents were seen at the Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts becoming emotional when James’ voice on the track played through the speakers.

In addition to mentioning Lively and Reynolds' two eldest daughters, some fans are speculating whether the singer also subtly revealed the name of their third and youngest tot in 'Betty'.

Following the birth of their third daughter last year, the famous couple have chosen to keep the child's name a secret, with Reynolds regularly joking about the baby’s moniker to his fans and the media.

Last December, Reynolds joked that he and his wife hadn't decided on a name for their youngest daughter, telling presenters on the Today show: 'We're going to be original and... all the letters in her name are silent. I want to give her something to push against in life.'

However, this isn’t stopping Swift’s fans from taking to Twitter to suggest that by naming her song ‘Betty’, the 30-year-old might have revealed the baby’s name.

‘Inez??? James??? What if Betty is the name of Blake Livelys third kid [sic],’ one user wrote.

‘@taylorswift13 used James and Inez, @blakelively children’s names, in her song “betty”. Blake and Ryan haven’t said her third baby’s name... is it Betty???’

While we think it’s highly unlikely for Swift to have revealed the couple’s daughter through her music, the singer does have a history for using her close friends and family as inspiration for her music.

And yes, we're looking at you, Joe Alwyn.
