WESTON, W.Va. – Two Lewis County healthcare professionals are offering patients a choice with services at Lively Healthcare Center, in Jane Lew.  Sarah Weaver, FNP, and Debbie Murray, FNP, are seeing patients Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., along with Dr. Bruce Gorby. They are making a difference for patients needing immediate care as walk-ins, and new patients needing a family practitioner.

The clinicians provide chronic care management, sports physicals, well-child visits, vaccinations, minor procedures, same day appointments and walk in urgent care services.

The recent COVID-19 pandemic has provided an incentive to use Telehealth medicine for patients who do not wish to come in person to the Jane Lew site.

“We are continuing to offer Telehealth for patients and we want to make sure that they are aware that it is still an option to receive our help,” noted Murray.  “Staying at home and still receiving one’s healthcare is a win-win situation for our patients.”

Debbie Murray feels fortunate that she can help members of her community on their healthcare journeys.

“I am able to give care for both acute and chronic complaints at Lively,” explained Murray.  “I have hours which can accommodate a variety of patients and am happy to see all ages.  It is so satisfying to help family and friends get better. The benefit of working in a small community is that we often know and have a connection to our patients that allow us to deliver a more personal care approach”

Sarah Weaver enjoys her work, too, and noted, “I like the fact that I see people here as their caregiver and am able to serve the entire family. It is so satisfying to help people recover.  It is even better to help them accomplish their healthcare goals.”

Sarah is a graduate of South Harrison, and received her nursing and master degree from West Virginia Wesleyan University, in Buckhannon.  She and her husband Michael have two toddlers – 7-month Noah and almost two-year-old Elijah.

Debbie is a Lewis County High School graduate and received her BSN from Mountain State University.  Her MSN degree was attained at Walden University. Prior to joining SJMH she served as a Nurse Practitioner for WV Gastroenterology.  She has two children, Joseph and Abigail Spray.
