Following abuse allegations against former Gossip Girl star Armie Hammer, the Call Me By Your Name star is back in hot water, but this time, over a 2017 interview.
An interview has resurfaced online where Hammer discusses his time on Gossip Girl—hinting that a star of the hit show was the reason he was fired.
For those who need a GG refresher ahead of the reboot, Hammer appeared in the show's second season as Gabriel Edwards, the con-artist whose relationship with Serena van der Woodsen (played by Blake Lively) was purely a means to an end when it came to tricking her family out of money.
And while Gossip Girl fans saw Gabriel leave the show having made amends with Serena, what we didn't know was that Hammer himself seemingly left the set on rather bad terms.
Appearing on Andy Cohen's After Show back in 2017, Hammer was questioned on which cast member was the "biggest diva" on Gossip Girl. Attempting to remain diplomatic, many are claiming that Hammer appears nervous in the clip, particularly when fellow interviewee, Chelsea Handler, urges him to confess.
Clearly uncomfortable by the question, Hammer admits that he wishes he could avoid answering, saying: "I wish I could take all my passes back and use them all right now."

"Let me just say that was a tough show to film and I didn't end up actually filming all the episodes I was supposed to because it was so tough," he taunted viewers, despite his supposed discomfort moments before.
"Oh really? So you were like, 'Get me out of this?'" Cohen pressed. "It was also like 'Get him out of here'", Hammer retorted, leaving us to assume that he had become a problem on-set throughout filming.
After revealing that his love interest on the show was Blake Lively, Chelsea Handler added: "It sounds like she was the problem."
"No, no, that's not what I'm saying," Hammer replied, sporting a sly smirk that has left the internet concluding that that was indeed what he was trying to say.
And while many may say that his behaviour in the video doesn't mean anything, tips sent into notorious gossip Instagram DeuxMoi say otherwise.
Resharing the video overnight, the infamous Instagram has seen a myriad of claims sent in by fans and past co-workers of Lively in an attempt to clear up whether or not what Hammer was hinting at is true.
Sharing hits from random contacts, many fans have come forward to vouch for Lively, however, it is important to note that DeuxMoi's tips are simply hearsay and shouldn't be considered as a confirmation of rumours.
One anonymous fan wrote: "I can 100% confirm that she is the sweetest human being on earth", with another claiming that Lively was "so kind and so professional".
"She treated production and background as her equals. Anyone saying otherwise is definitely intimidated because she is kind and stunning and people love to hate that".
And while the myth around Lively's apparent "diva behaviour" seems to be busted, others came forward to reveal the reason why Hammer supposedly has a problem with the Age Of Adeline actress.
According to one fan, an incident took place during the filming of Hammer's episode in Gossip Girl, where he apparently called Lively "an insufferable b*tch" which led to his firing from the show. Following the accusation, multiple other tips urgently rushed in to support the rumour.
But, of course, despite DeuxMoi fans writing in to back up the rumour, until either party speaks up and addresses this mess, every accusation must be taken with an enormous grain of salt.
