INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WNDU) - On Tuesday in Indy, protesters are at the statehouse rallying against state of emergency declarations.
A handful of people gathered in support of Donald Rainwater, who challenged Governor Eric Holcomb’s re-election.
Rainwater and his supporters are against Governor Holcomb’s emergency declarations to protect against COVID-19.
Governor Holcomb’s state of emergency declared back in March is still in effect and requires masks in public places, social distancing, limits on gatherings, as well as limits for businesses.
