CityCenter Danbury is pleased to announce that “Halloween on the Green 2021” was a great success, despite the challenge of inclement weather. On Saturday, October 30, over 1000 costumed children and family members gathered inside the Patriot Parking Garage and enjoyed a festive afternoon celebrating Halloween with a wide variety of fun-filled activities that delighted the crowd!
Aside from the day’s activities, “Halloween in the Garage” also marked the return of CityCenter Danbury’s calendar of in-person downtown events. The downtown district is stronger than ever, following more than a year of missed events due to the pandemic.
Henry Ford once said: “Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.” City Center’s Halloween event pays homage to this. With the enthusiastic and generous input and help of local businesses, sponsors, organizations and people, this event helped to once again enliven downtown Danbury.
Lazaro Chavez, City Center Manager stated “I felt a tremendous sense of gratitude in seeing City Center come alive again, rich in the diversity and resources for downtown Danbury it has become known for.”
