HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — Actress Blake Lively and actor/director Justin Baldoni have been filming the romantic comedy "It Ends With Us" around Hoboken and Jersey City for over a year, and they've got to eat.
Apparently, Lively has joined the line to get the popular cinnamon buns at the coffee shop The Hive in Hoboken, near the filming location.
The Hive, on 10th Street and Park Avenue — two blocks from the co-working space that was dressed up as a flower shop for the movie — is known for their thickly-frosted cinnamon buns that draw long lines on weekends.
Recently, the two moms who run the shop premiered a blueberry-filled variety that apparently hit the spot for Lively.
"When working long hours it's important to start the day with a balanced breakfast," she noted on social media on Friday, showing off four of the buns.
The owners of the Hive explained the bun rules on social media.
"We make these from scratch and serve them fresh every weekend — on Saturdays and Sundays — along with *most* Fridays, and yep, we wake up at 4:45 on roll days to prep," they wrote last week. "Rolls are served on a first come, first served basis in-store only. Lines usually start around 7:15 a for those first batches, which bake at 8, 8:30, 9, and 9:30. The wait for rolls can be anywhere from one-two hours, depending on when you join the line...we allow customers to order a max of four rolls and don’t allow pre- or online orders. we’ve been selling out by 9:30a-10a (ish!).
"Please be nice to our team, to our neighbors, and to each other. Make way for others trying to get into their homes or walk along the sidewalk."
