CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Hundreds of protesters gathered hours before the presidential debate on Tuesday, calling for justice and the ousting of President Donald Trump.
A few hundred people gathered at Wade Lagoon, in front of the stately Cleveland Museum of Art, and blocks from the debate site, the Cleveland Clinic’s Sheila and Eric Samson Pavilion, which was lined state troopers and Ohio National Guard vehicles.
Speakers rallied the crowd, who carried signs with slogans like “Dump Trump!” and “Hate is not welcome here.” Then they began marching north.
