Hundreds of mourners packed a Brooklyn funeral home Wednesday night for the wake of a woman who was ambushed on a city sidewalk earlier this month.

The somber gathering at Frank R. Bell Funeral Home in memory of Delia Johnson, 42, came as her family members are still seeking justice from the brazen Aug. 4 shooting that left their loved one dead.

Johnson’s relatives had previously said they recognized the female shooter as a one-time close family friend — and at Tuesday’s wake, the victim’s 17-year-old daughter, Ladeya Jenkins, urged the killer to surrender to police.

“I just hope that you realize what you did and [I] wonder what made you do such a thing,” Jenkins told The Post in reference to the suspected shooter. “Turn yourself in. She was basically your sister.”

Jenkins’ mom was talking on the phone on a crowded Prospect Heights street when an assailant with a purse walked up to her and shot her in the head before nonchalantly walking back to a double-parked SUV and driving away.

The victim’s uncle, Jason Garner, said at the wake that if he were younger he would hunt down the suspect himself.

“Damn right I’d want to get that girl hurt who killed my niece,” said Garner, “but revenge is not what it’s about anymore.”

“Today, I just want to remember my niece. She touched a lot of people,” he said.

Johnson’s mother, Delia Barry, broke down in tears at her daughter’s wake and said, “It’s too much pain, too much pain.”

“The love we have will continue and we will keep Delia’s memory alive.”

The NYPD has released chilling surveillance footage of the execution. They previously declined to comment on the purported connection between the suspect and the victim.
