DAYTON — A crowd gathered at Levitt Pavilion Saturday to commemorate and celebrate Juneteenth.
Those in attendance Saturday afternoon were able to watch poetry and dance recitals, as well as drumming and other musical performances.
Grammy-nominated musical group Tank and the Bangas is scheduled to perform this evening.

A selfie wall and food trucks are also available to those in attendance to enjoy.
The celebration continues until 9:00 p.m.
President Joe Biden signed a bill Thursday marking Juneteenth, the day commemorating the end of slavery, as a federal holiday.
