Helen Robinson Lively
Mother, Mom, Grandma, Mamaw. Helen Robinson Lively, 94, passed away July 6, 2021, making her final journey home to reunite with her beloved Tracy and the Lord and Savior, peacefully with family and friends by her side.
She was born to parents Eugene and Emma Burke Robinson, March 15, 1927, in Caretta, WV.
Helen graduated from Montgomery High School in 1945.
She married the late Tracy Lee Lively on June 14, 1948, residing in Smithers, WV until 1957, eventually moving to Lively, WV to raise their family.
Helen is survived by three children, Jane Peterson and husband Harry of Barboursville, WV, David Lively Sr. and wife Jerri of Bristol, VA, and Rebecca Meredith of Lively with whom she made her home, and a nephew John Smoot of Teays Valley, WV. She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren and her devoted friend and caregiver, Doris Stover.
Helen's greatest love was for children. She was privileged to work in the Fayette County School system as a secretary for Pax Elementary School. She loved each and every child there and was blessed to have served. She spoke fondly of her time there, up until her death. She was a mother to many.
Services will be on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
